Four Years! June 28th, 2007
To celebrate four wonderful years of marriage, Robbie and I went to the Palm Restaurant . I had the broiled crab cakes with mango salsa, and Robbie had a large filet. Yum! Here we are ready to leave to go to the restaurant....very fancy
And here we are when we got back, Robbie took me to the mall and got me a new dress and a pair of sunglasses for our anniversary! Lauren wanted to wear her new dress to dinner...
All-in-all it's been another great year together. I am thankful that I have Robbie in my life!

Meet the Killbears
Hello everyone! We are the Kill Bears! I'm Stabby, and these are my brothers Drowny and Maimy! Bob is at home...he doesn't get out much...he's very mild mannered. We use the power of "Kill" to bring a certain brand of justice to an otherwise undisciplined world. Sometimes I black out...

All Good
This year we are going to All Good for our summer festival! We are really excited! We are spending four days with our friends at the beach before heading off to All Good, so it will be like a real vacation, something we haven't had in years (unless it was to go to St. Louis). I will definately post pictures when we get home. If any of our out of town family or friends are interested in meeting us there email me at franticpain@gmail.com.

For those of you who haven't been here...
As I promised, pictures of the screened in porch. In the corner you can see our wood burning stove, which will be great in the winter, although I think for now we will stick to the fan...
A glimpse of the non-screened in portion of the porch. And the grill the guy who sold us the house's boyfriend was supposed to come pick up, but never did....
And our lovely backyard, perfect for two Basset Hounds, and maybe a Bloodhound at some point....

Thank you roto-rooter
Well we had our first "homeowner moment". Right before people were coming over for poker the toilet started backing up into the laundry room. Yum. Thank god Roto-Rooter got there in about an hour. YAY!

Today after two weeks as Hazels big brother, Dupree actually let Hazel touch him! Not only that, but he let her sleep in "his" bed!! I guess he wanted to make up for eating all her tiny rawhide bones.... I know you all have been waiting with baited breath for this day...Actually I don't really care either....sorry.

Masters of War
Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build the big bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks
You that never done nothin'
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly
Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain
You fasten the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansion
As young people's blood
Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud
You've thrown the worst fear
That can ever be hurled
Fear to bring children
Into the world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood
That runs in your veins
How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do
Let me ask you one question Is your money that good Will it buy you forgiveness Do you think that it could I think you will find When your death takes its toll All the money you made Will never buy back your soul And I hope that you die And your death'll come soon I will follow your casket In the pale afternoon And I'll watch while you're lowered Down to your deathbed And I'll stand o'er your grave 'Til I'm sure that you're dead | ||

Our New House
Yay! New house! This is the front of the house, soon to be repainted. BTW, yes that is a toilet in the left-hand corner, we took it out of a half finished partial bath that will become a closet.
This is the front half of the room we are sleeping in now, which is soon to combine with the bedroom behind it
This is the wall that is coming down, and what I stare at when I wake up in the morning.
This is the other side of the wall that is coming down.
Here is our only bathroom (yes we only have one bathroom)
On May 31st Robbie and Lauren purchased their first house. I will be posting more pictures on it as soon as we get some of the boxes cleared and furniture set up. We have a nice big kitchen, a screened in porch and a large backyard. I'll keep you posted!!

Eight Things
Geez...eight things about myself, this is going to be hard...
1. I want to go to graduate school so badly that my stomach hurts, but I don't think I am going to get in
2. I read the postsecret blog every sunday, but have never had the courage to send in one of my secrets (what if it didn't get published, what if it DID)
3. My favorite thing about my new house is the little breakfast bar that looks out into the living room because I can sit and eat there with my husband
4. I am very ashamed of this, but I read TMZ.com religiously :-O
5. Babies R Us confuses the HELL out of me! I have had to go there twice in a year for two friends and it is overwhelming...
6. I will watch just about anything that is animated...cartoons are awesome
7. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am an adult
8. YO MAMA!!!

Keep checking I will find that cord one of these days!
